Veterans Day

I had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the celebration that the Brookville Schools did for the Veterans on November 11th. It was to say the least a very touching and caring event that the teachers, staff and the students did for us.

Serendipity Camping

I awakened to the soft patter of raindrops on the tent’s taut nylon fly. Air wafting through the mesh panels was damp and cool. After zipping the protective flaps halfway to reduce the chance of wind-blown leaks, I felt around in the darkness near the end of my sleeping pad for a light blanket.
