About Ron Nunnari:
Ron Nunnari has been a member of Englewood Independent staff since November of 1985. He started his career as a part-time sportswriter/photographer and became a full-time member of the writing staff three years later when he expanded his duties to covering crime, city council meetings, writing editorials while continuing to cover sports. Nunnari became editor in November 2000. In March 2011 he was presented with the Ohio High School Athletic Association Southwest District 'Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Media Service Award.' He has also won numerous awards from the Ohio Newspaper Association for writing and photography. Nunnari joined the staff of the Brookville Star in April 2019 and became editor in July 2020.
