Motorcycle Bike Run to benefit veterans

TRENTON — MillerCoors will support veterans by sponsoring the 11th annual UAW 2308 MillerCoors Motorcycle Bike Run on Sept. 12.

Riders will be asked to donate $20 per motorcycle, with all proceeds benefitting Honor Flight Tri-State, an organization created solely to honor America’s veterans by providing transport to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. The Bike Run spans 70 miles and riders will be escorted by the Oxford Police Department and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

UAW Local 2308 and MillerCoors in Trenton have successfully raised more than $45,000 for various veteran-based organizations since their first motorcycle Benefit Bike run in 2005.

“We’re proud to support service members through the Honor Flight Tri-State organization,” said Denise Quinn, MillerCoors Trenton Brewery plant manager. “We’re happy to have the opportunity to give back to the community in which we live and work.”

Riders interested in participating in the Bike Run can register at MillerCoors Trenton Brewery on the morning of Saturday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to noon EDT. After the Bike Run, riders are invited to a party at the VFW Post 7670 (Chuck Cain Post), 4021 Hamilton-Trenton Road, Overpeck, Ohio, with food for participants, door prizes, music and a raffle.
