ENGLEWOOD — Recently, the Northmont Rotary received an update about the Northmont Pre-Engineering Program from Rob Winkler, coordinator of the program and one of the instructors.
Winkler teaches Manufacturing Technology and Drafting while also collaborating with the University of Dayton, Wright State University, and Central State University.
Students in these programs have an interest in pursuing a career in engineering or manufacturing and have an opportunity to work with the latest technology, such as 3-D printers and robotic technology.
