ENGLEWOOD — Randolph Township Historical Society (RTHS) will hold a special afternoon program honoring local World War II veterans from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11 at the RTHS History Center, 114 Valleyview Drive in Englewood.
This is an informal event in which local veterans and/or their descendants can join in a roundtable discussion about their service experiences during World War II, or talk about life on the home front during the war years.
Local residents who have a friend, relative, or neighbor who served in World War II are encouraged to bring them to the History Center so they can enjoy the comradery, see the Society’s World War II exhibits, and possibly share their personal stories with the group. The discussions will be recorded and transcribed for preservation in the Society’s archives.
Refreshments will follow the program. This event is free and open to the public with parking available in front of the History Center and in lots across the street. Call 832-1858 for more information.
