ENGLEWOOD — The Englewood City Council is accepting letters of interest to fill a vacant seat on the Administrative Board for Planning and Zoning Appeals (Planning Commission).
You must be an Englewood resident in order to be considered for the vacancy. Commission members meet the first Thursday of the month at 5 p.m. at the Englewood Government Center.
The commission consists of five members including a representative from Council and four citizens. Commission members are appointed by the Mayor with Council approval. The Planning Commission is responsible for making recommendations to City Council regarding rezoning applications and Zoning Code changes and makes determinations on variance requests, conditional uses and administrative appeals. The successful candidate will serve a two year term that will expire on December 31, 2017.

Deadline for submitting letters is Friday, November 13, 2015.
