CLAYTON — Salem Church of God will host a “Surviving the Holidays” GriefShare seminar from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
The GriefShare program is offered without charge to those who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. The nondenominational event, presented on DVD, will include Christ-centered, biblical teaching that focuses on grief issues and features nationally respected experts and real-life stories, followed by a group discussion among seminar participants.
Many grieving people find they are only beginning the task of healing when friends or family have returned to their daily routines. Past participants have related how helpful the information and follow-up discussions were. Whether your bereavement experience is recent or not, seminar participants will find encouragement, comfort and help in working through the grieving process.
