‘Touch the Sky’ sermon series to begin at Salem

CLAYTON — Steve Southards, lead pastor at Salem Church of God, will open a three-part ‘Touch the Sky’ teaching series on Sunday, March 6, focusing on how to better worship God.

“Christ changes everything,” Southards said. “He makes us whole, gives us identity and clarifies our purpose. He gave His life so we could live. The only appropriate gift we can give in return is our worship.”

The series schedule:

* March 6 – “Made to Worship”

* March 13 – “Passionate Worship”

* March 20 – “Authentic Worship”

“More than a service and more than a song, worship is our lives,” Southards said. “In this series, we will learn how we can better worship God.”

Salem Church of God is at 6500 Southway Road in Clayton. Sunday worship services are at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
