ENGLEWOOD — On March 29 at noon the Northmont Rotary and senior citizens at the Earl Heck Community Center enjoyed a meal and entertainment by the Northmont High School Encore musical group.
The Northmont Rotary sponsors the senior luncheon annually and arranges to have entertainment meant to appeal to all. Organized by Northmont Superintendent Dr. Sarah Zatik and under the direction of Mr. Mark Barnhill, Encore sang and danced a tremendous program.
This group consists of musicians and singers that have been selected for their excellent performing ability and serve as an ambassador for the Northmont Music Department (and indeed the entire Northmont High School) as they bring their skills and talents to the community. They perform for civic organizations, schools, and nursing homes to name just a few of their venues.
