Clayton street resurfacing begins July 9

CLAYTON — All roads posted for “No Parking” as of Thursday, July 7 giving the public a 48 hour notice are scheduled for resurfacing work in the City of Clayton.

All work is subject to equipment problems and weather issues but the schedule should be close to the following.

Nineteen roads east of Main Street are scheduled to be paved starting approximately July 13. Mill work will begin Saturday, July 9. Those streets include: Obispee Avenue, Irvington Avenue, Harrington Avenue, Sidney Drive, Circle Drive, Moorewood Circle, Groveview Avenue, Melody Road, Springway Drive, Vinway Court, Woolery Lane, River Ridge Road, Hoffman Drive, Marylew Lane, Priscilla Avenue, Remington Drive, Glenhaven Road, Dorchester Drive and Granite Drive.

Fourteen roads around the Inwood and Cheri Lynne plat, including: Romaine Drive, Lindy Court, Tammy Circle, Takisa Circle, Jacquelyn Court, Thelma Avenue (from Elmway Drive to Hacker Road), Hacker Road, Flower Avenue and Northland Court.

Garber Road from Old Salem Road to Main Street.

Savina Avenue from Elru Drive to Main Street.

Five roads in the Bayberry Trail subdivision, including: Silverbell Court, Burkwood Drive, Damson Drive, Coralberry Drive, and Raspberry Court.

Crestway from Westbrook Road to Interstate 70 will also be paved as well as Fox Road which will receive a two-inch mill and fill.
