Free southern gospel event offered

CLAYTON — Southern gospel music will be featured when Salem Church of God hosts “An Evening at Salem” at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 11.

The Salem Quartet, from Englewood, and Trio, from Blacksburg, VA, will be in concert in the Salem Church of God Worship Center. There is no admission fee. A love offering will be received.

Trio, comprised of Amanda Shepheard and Chris and Kelly McMurray, is a group of friends that has come together to minister through music while presenting a powerful testimony that glorifies God.

The Salem Quartet, based in Englewood, is made up of Dan Garner, Dyan Garner, Dave Mittlesteadt and Herb Peer. The foursome has been building an active and growing regional music ministry for several years.
