ENGLEWOOD — Why not spend your vacation in engaging Englewood?
According to postcards recently given to the Randolph Township Historical Society by Malcolm Treon, Englewood was once marketed as a place with good fishing and boating and with lovely rural scenes. The postcards have no date, but are clearly after the completion of the Englewood Dam.
The Randolph Township Historical Society will meet for its regular meeting at 7 p.m. on June 14 at the History Center, 114 Valleyview Dr., Englewood. The Center will also be open for visitors from 2 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 4 and then on the first and third Sundays of the month through October.
More information about the Society is available at www.rths.org.
