ENGLEWOOD — Tony Broering, head football coach for Northmont High School, recently visited the Northmont Rotary and provided an interesting update on the football program.
Coach Broering reviewed some of the team’s priorities this year and explained the team motto that everyone is to ‘Be a good teammate.’
While clearly recognizing the importance of the football scoreboard, he explained how he and his staff are working to help these teens grow into young men of substance. He referenced the scoreboard of life and what it means to invest in others. He challenged everyone to actively seek opportunities to make a difference by ‘Being a good teammate.’
The Northmont Rotary Club meets at noon each Tuesday at Good Samaritan North Health Center, 9000 N. Main St., Englewood.
