To the Editor:
I was very sorry to learn of Rick Stoeckman’s passing. He was an important part of the 1977 and 1978
undefeated T-Bolts as a strong safety and back-up quarterback. He later was very helpful as a
“walk on” coach and scout. His ability to recognize habits and tendencies of opponents was very
beneficial to Northmont coaches as they prepared for opponents.
