BEAVERCREEK — Coming into Tuesday’s match, both Northmont and Beavercreek were tied for first place with a record of 2-0 in the GWOC Central Division. The Lady Bolts were 10-2 overall while the ‘Creek was undefeated at 10-0.
The match lived up to the hype, lasting over three hours. Although Beavercreek won 4-1, it was a very close match with two singles courts going three sets to decide the match. Northmont’s only win of the night ended up being at the No. 1 singles spot, where Akilah Parker defeating Anna Jones 6-2, 6-0.
