“We had a really great trip down there,” said Northmont Coach Chuck Harlow. “Our pitching was outstanding. Tyler Defibaugh pitched another gem for us in an 8 inning win over Muscle Shoals. He was just outstanding. He only gave up six hits with five strikeouts and only walked one and we just played really well behind him with outstanding defense. Overall we played real well in the field in Florida and Logan Jewsikow was excellent behind the plate. Our outfield play was really, really good and our infield play was solid. Now we just have to try and get a couple of games in between the raindrops now that we are back home.”
The Thunderbolts got rained out in Florida in a schedule game against Ft. Walton Beach and have scheduled a game against Fairborn on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Wright State. Thursday the Thunderbolts will host West Carrollton and on Friday host Beavercreek. Saturday the Thunderbolts will host Butler, Monday host Xenia and then play at Xenia on Tuesday.
