BUTLER TWP. — On September 12 approximately 300 people of all ages from the Northmont/Vandalia communities came together and built a two-story home with a garage and four freestanding sheds.
Stillwater Church and Crossroads Ministries organized the Habitat Humanity build, which was held in the parking lot of Stillwater Church at the corner of Frederick Pike and Dog Leg Road.
About 75 members of the Northmont City Schools community, including Northmont Fast-pitch Softball, Girls Basketball, Jobs For Grads, Peer Facilitation, Transportation, Northmont Leos, Northmont Rotary and many Northmont staff members and their families joined the member churches of Community Table and Stillwater church to help a family realize their dream of owning their own home.
