KETTERING — On Friday, January 29 Northmont DECA members competed in the DECA District 4 Spring Conference at the First Baptist Church of Kettering. The chapter had 74 members competing with 54 trophy winners, 47 state qualifiers, and 12 first place finishers.
“I was very pleased about the outcome of the event,” said Eric Wagner, Northmont DECA advisor. “Knowing that we have had a crazy year with the move into the new building, which led to a week less of preparation time, the students really stepped and exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to the Ohio DECA Career Development Conference to see what exciting things the students can do there.”
The following students placed 5th in their event.
