ENGLEWOOD — The City of Englewood hosted its annual Fourth of July fireworks display Saturday night in Centennial Park, which attracted thousands of local spectators.
Not only was Centennial Park itself brimming with spectators, surrounding business parking lots were filled to capacity with local residents and their families. Many spectators lined National Road on both sides to get an unobstructed view across the corn field looking south toward the park.
Of course, before the fireworks display, Tim Elliot and the 40-piece Englewood Civic Band performed patriotic music in the woods at Centennial Park starting at 7 p.m.
