ENGLEWOOD — Mr. Brady Kress, president and CEO of Dayton History and Carillon Historical Park, has accepted an invitation from Englewood Mayor Patricia Burnside to be the guest speaker at this year’s annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, November 17 at 7:30 a.m. at Concord United Methodist Church.
Kress serves on the National Advisory Council of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation; the Board of Engineers Club of Dayton and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. He is past chairman of the Dayton/Montgomery County Convention & Visitors Bureau and is past president of the Association of Indiana Museums. Kress is a 5th generation Daytonian, a husband, a father, and an Eagle Scout.
In addition to the guest speaker, four local ministers will offer prayers, Northmont High School’s Chamber Choir will perform and Northmont High School’s JROTC Color Guard will present the colors.
The public is invited to attend this event which brings the community together to break bread and count its blessings as friends and neighbors and to celebrate the joy of living in this community. Tickets are on sale at the Englewood Government Center for $9 each.
