ENGLEWOOD — The new United Dairy Farmers store at 501 W. National Road, Englewood, will hold a Grand Opening on Saturday, July 18 from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
UDF will offer specials during the Grand Opening such as single dip ice cream cones for 49 cents, a gallon of milk for 99 cents (limit two per customer) and 48 ounce UDF Classic Ice Cream buy one get one free, as well as assorted free samples.
The new 4,400 square foot store is one of nearly 200 stores located throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and features 16 fueling stations.
In 1940 the Lindner family built the very first cash and carry dairy and ice cream store. They bottled their own milk and made their own ice cream and still do to this day. UDF is known as a neighborhood store that combines the nostalgia of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor with all the benefits of a modern convenience store.
