“There were lots of hits and runs by both teams, but throughout our lineup we had everyone getting good solid contact,” said Head Coach Kris Mangen, who returned to action after rupturing her Achilles tendon two weeks ago. “It was good for me to see the girls do their thing from the dugout. Weaver pitched well and our bats added plenty of excitement. We had two home runs. Weaver hit one and McGilton got her first home run of the season and hopefully will have many more. Erin Mangen has been hitting strong and so has Ryanne Stoffel. It is nice to see some people that have kind of been in a rut comeback and get their bats on the ball. Hopefully we will continue to do that over the next couple of weeks.”
