BUTLER TWP. — The Northmont Rotary recently held its annual installation of officers at an induction dinner held at Aullwood Farm.
Catered by Mrs. B’s, the dinner featured many awards as well as reviewing the past year’s accomplishments. Dr. Brad Baughman, outgoing club president, thanked the officers that served for the work they had done as well as the club in general for the tremendous support given to the community, schools, and Rotary International.
Incoming club president Jeff Boland gave an overview of goals for the upcoming year. Bob Wolfe was recognized with a Perfect Attendance Award for 41 years of continuous perfect attendance. The club also recognized and thanked Joe Hartenstein of Northmont City Schools for his work in coordinating the Rotary Interact Club. This club is the high school extension of Rotary and fosters service above self.
The Northmont Rotary Club holds its normal weekly meetings at noon each Tuesday at Good Samaritan North Health Center, 9000 N. Main St., Englewood.

A Special Presidential Award was presented to Joe Hartenstein for his many dedicated years of service in coordinating the activities of the Rotary Interact Club at Northmont High School. Sand Williams, Chair of International Service and Chair of the Foundation, is shown presenting the award.
